SSC CGL 2025: Golden opportunity for youth preparing for government job, SSC has announced recruitment for 14,582 posts

The notification for the Combined Graduate Level Examination has been issued by the Staff Selection Commission. This year more than 14 thousand posts will be recruited.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued the notification for the Combined Graduate Level Examination (SSC CGL 2025). This time the commission has announced recruitment for 14,582 posts. The online application process for this has started and interested candidates can apply by visiting the official website of SSC, ssc.gov.in.

The application process has started from 9 June 2025 and the last date to apply has been fixed as 4 July 2025. Candidates who apply will have to pay the fee by 5 July. If anyone has to correct any mistake in the application, then there will be a chance to correct it between 9th to 11th July.

Different posts will be filled

Under this recruitment process, there will be appointments on Group 'B' and Group 'C' posts in different departments and ministries of the Central Government. Group B includes posts like Assistant Section Officer, Income Tax Inspector, Central Excise Inspector, Narcotics Inspector, Sub-Inspector, Research Assistant, Postal Inspector. At the same time, recruitment will be done in Group C on posts like Auditor, Tax Assistant, Postal Assistant, Accountant, Upper Divisional Clerk.

What is the age limit?

The age limit for these posts has been fixed differently according to the post, such as 18 to 27 years, 18 to 30 years or 20 to 30 years. Age will be calculated on the basis of 1st August 2025. Candidates of reserved categories will be given age relaxation as per rules.

This application fee will have to be paid

Talking about the application fee, candidates of general and OBC category will have to pay a fee of Rs 100. Whereas women, SC/ST category, PwBD and ex-servicemen will not have to pay any fee. The selection process will have a two-stage computer based test (CBT), after which document verification will be done. Both Tier-1 and Tier-2 exams will be objective type.

When will the exam be held?

Now let's talk about the exam SSC CGL Tier-1 exam will be conducted between 13 to 30 August 2025. After this, Tier-2 exam is proposed to be conducted in December 2025. That is, the candidates have enough time to prepare.
