SSC CGL 2025: Final vacancies for SSC CGL recruitment released, post preferences to be filled from March 9 to 12..
SSC CGL 2025: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the final vacancy list for the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGLE 2025). A total of 15,130 posts will be filled under this recruitment drive. The Commission has announced that the option-cum-preference window for various CGL 2025 posts will open on March 9th. Candidates will be able to fill their preferred posts through this window.
Opportunity to Fill Option-cum-Preferences Until March 12th
According to the official notice, all candidates will be required to fill out their post preferences online before the SSC CGL Tier 2 Result 2025 is released. This facility will be available on the SSC's official website, ssc.gov.in. The option-cum-preference window will remain open until 6:00 PM on March 12th. After this, candidates will not have the opportunity to fill their preferences.
All candidates who appeared for the Tier 2 exam are advised to complete this process by accessing their 'Candidate Login'. After logging in, the option to fill in preferences will be available under the 'My Application' tab.
Keep this in mind before filling out the preference form
The official SSC notice also states that before filling out the preference form, candidates should ensure that they meet the required physical and medical standards for the post they are applying for.
SSC CGL 2025: Process for Filling in Preferences
After filling in their preferred posts, candidates must ensure that they submit the form by clicking the Submit button. If a candidate fails to fill in their options within the stipulated time limit, they will not be given this opportunity later.
Such candidates will not be included in the final merit list or the final selection process. Therefore, it is mandatory for all candidates who appeared in the Tier-2 examination to fill the Option-cum-Preference form; only then will their names be considered for the final merit list and final selection.
The SSC notice also states that PwBD (Divyang) candidates should fill the preference form only for those posts that have been declared suitable as per their disability.
If a PwBD candidate is selected for a post that is not considered suitable for their disability, the concerned department may cancel their candidature.
