SSC CGL 2024: Which posts are recruited in SSC CGL, the number of vacancies has increased..

A new update has come on the Staff Selection Commission i.e. SSC CGL 2024 recruitment. SSC has increased the number of vacancies. Now recruitment will be done for a total of 18,174 posts, whereas earlier SSC had announced recruitment for 17,727 posts in Group 'B' and Group 'C' categories. SSC has also opened the window to fill the Option-cum-Preference Form for posts and departments for this recruitment examination. Candidates appearing in the CGL Tier 2 exam can fill out the preference form by visiting the official website of SSC ssc.gov.in.

The last date to fill the Option-cum-Preference Form is 27 February till 5 pm. For this, candidates have to log in by going to the Candidate Login tab and after that, they have to go to 'My Application' and select their preferred post and department. Actually, before the final result, the candidates must fill the preference form for the post/department.

When was the exam held?

The notification for SSC CGL Recruitment 2024 was released on 24 June 2024. After this, the CGL Tier-1 exam was conducted in CBT mode, the result of which was released on 5 December 2024 and the candidates were shortlisted for CGL Tier-2. At the same time, the Tier-2 exam was conducted from 18 to 20 and 31 January.
