**Eligibility and Criteria for Recruitment**
To participate in this recruitment, candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th Grade) from a recognized board. Additionally, the candidate's maximum age must not exceed 35 years. Candidates belonging to reserved categories are granted age relaxation in the upper age limit as per applicable rules.

**Constable (Tradesman) and Constable (Orderly)**
Constables (GD) who fulfill the following conditions are eligible for re-recruitment to these posts:

Must have completed a minimum of 3 years of regular service in the SSB as of January 01, 2026.
Must have completed 3 years of regular service within the Force as a Constable (Tradesman) or Constable (Orderly).

Must possess a certificate indicating the latest medical category of SHAPE-I.
For the vacancy year 2026, the candidate must maintain a clean service record spanning the preceding 3 years of service. For the preceding 3 years (i.e., 2022-23, 2023-24, and 2024-25), the APAR grading must not fall below the "Good" standard (not less than 04 points in the APAR).
The cut-off date for the eligibility criteria shall be January 01, 2026.
