The deadline for applying for Head Constable positions within the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) has been extended. Under this recruitment drive, a total of 233 Head Constable positions will be filled. Of these, 105 posts are reserved for the General category, 20 for EWS, 62 for OBC, 27 for SC, and 19 for ST candidates.
**Salary Structure**
Candidates selected for the Head Constable positions will receive a salary ranging from ₹25,500 to ₹81,100.
**Age Limit**
To apply, candidates must be at least 18 years of age and not exceed 27 years of age. Additionally, candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted age relaxation in accordance with the rules.
**Educational Qualification**
To apply for these positions, candidates must have passed Class 10th or 12th from a recognized institution in India.
**Registration Fee**
Candidates belonging to the General, EWS, and OBC categories are required to pay a registration fee of ₹100 to apply. However, female candidates, as well as those belonging to the SC and ST categories, are exempted from paying the registration fee.
**Exam Pattern**
The examination will consist of questions covering General Knowledge, Mathematics, Reasoning, Hindi and English, and subjects related to the specific trade/discipline. The examination will be conducted for a total of 150 marks. To qualify in the examination, General, EWS, and OBC candidates are required to secure a minimum of 50% marks. Furthermore, SC and ST candidates must secure a minimum of 45% marks.
