An official notification has been issued for the recruitment of Constable (GD) posts within the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). This presents a golden opportunity for candidates aspiring to secure employment as Constable (GD). It is to be noted that the recruitment process for these Constable (GD) positions in the SSB will be conducted through offline mode. The deadline for submitting applications for the Constable (GD) posts has been set for June 20.

**Who Can Apply?**
To apply for the Constable (GD) posts in the SSB, candidates must have passed Class 10 from a recognized institution in India. Additionally, the maximum age limit for candidates must not exceed 35 years. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted age relaxation in accordance with the rules.

Furthermore, to be eligible to apply for the Constable (GD) posts in the SSB, candidates must possess a minimum of 3 years of work experience within the SSB as of January 1, 2026.

**How ​​Will Selection Be Conducted?**
The selection of candidates will be based on a Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Endurance Test (PET), Written Examination, Document Verification, Detailed Medical Examination (DME), and Review Medical Examination (RME). In the written examination, candidates will be asked 100 multiple-choice questions carrying a total of 100 marks. The examination will cover subjects such as General Awareness, Mathematics, Analytical Aptitude, etc. To qualify for this examination, General category candidates must secure 35% marks, while SC, ST, and OBC candidates are required to secure 33% marks.

**Number of Vacancies**
A total of 50 candidates will be selected for the Constable (GD) posts. Out of these, 38 posts have been reserved for candidates belonging to the General category, 08 posts for SC candidates, and 04 posts for ST candidates.
