South Eastern Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2025: South Eastern Railway has invited applications for apprentice positions. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of South Eastern Railway or Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), rrcser.co.in. This recruitment drive will fill 1,785 positions in the organization. The registration process will begin on November 18 and end on December 17, 2025.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates wishing to apply for this position must have passed Matriculation (Matriculate or 10th Class under the 10+2 examination system) from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (excluding additional subjects) and possess an ITI pass certificate (in the trade for which the apprenticeship is to be undertaken) awarded by the NCVT/SCVT.
Candidates must be between 15 and 24 years of age as of January 1, 2026. Only the age recorded in the Matriculation certificate or Birth Certificate will be considered for this purpose.
Selection Process
The selection process will be based on a trade-wise merit list prepared for all candidates applying under the notification in the respective trades. The merit list for each trade will be prepared based on the percentage of marks obtained in Matriculation, with a minimum of 50% (aggregate). For calculating the percentage of marks in Matriculation, the marks obtained by the candidates in all subjects will be counted, and not based on marks in any one subject or subject group.
Application Fee
The application fee is ₹100. SC/ST/PWD/Women candidates are exempted from paying the fee. Payment can be made through debit card/credit card/internet banking/UPI, or UPI/e-wallet. For more details, candidates can visit the official website of South Eastern Railway.
