SCL Assistant Recruitment 2025: The application process for the recruitment of Assistants (Administrative Support Staff) regularly in the Semi-Conductor Laboratory (SCL) will close today i.e. 26 February 2025 (11:59 pm). After this, candidates will be able to pay the fee of the application form only till 28 February. Interested and eligible candidates can apply immediately by visiting the official website.
A total of 25 Assistant posts are to be filled through this recruitment drive. Which includes 11 vacancies for the General category, 6 for OBC, 6 for SC/ST, and 2 for EWS.
Qualification
The candidate applying for this recruitment should have a graduation degree from any recognized university in India. Apart from this, knowledge of computers is mandatory.
Age Limit
The age limit for general category candidates to apply is 25 years. SC/ST candidates are given age relaxation of 5 years, OBC 3 years, PwBD (Unreserved) 10 years, PwBD (OBC) 13 years, and PwBD (SC/ST) 15 years.
Application Fee
Candidates have to pay the application fee through the online payment gateway. General/EWS/OBC candidates have to pay Rs 944 for these posts and SC/ST/PwBD/ESM/Women category candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs 472.
Salary
The selected candidate will be appointed as an Assistant in level 4 (25500- 81100) of the 7th Central Pay Commission. The minimum basic salary will be Rs 25500 per month. Along with the basic salary, candidates will get many allowances including House Rent Allowance (HRA), Travel Allowance (TA), Dearness Allowance, etc.
