Good news for the candidates who applied for the 18799 ALP recruitment of Railways, the schedule of the 18799 ALP recruitment exam of Railways has been released.

Railway Recruitment Board has released the new schedule of CBT II for the recruitment of 18,799 Assistant Loco Pilots i.e. ALP. According to the board, now this exam will be held on 2 and 6 May. Let us inform you that the first and second shifts of the CBT-2 exam of Assistant Loco Pilot i.e. ALP recruitment to be held on 19 March were canceled due to technical problems.

The official notice issued by RRB said, 'The second phase of Computer-Based Test (CBT), which was scheduled for March 19 and March 20, 2025, has now been rescheduled to be held on May 2 and May 6, 2025.' Further said that the rest of the candidates will not be affected by the change in this exam date.

When will the admit cards be issued?

Let us inform that the CBT-2 exam will be conducted in 2 shifts, the first shift will be at 7.30 am and the second shift will be at 12.30 pm. At the same time, the exam city intimation slip will be issued 10 days before the exam, and the admit cards will be issued 4 days before the exam.

How many posts will be recruited?

For this recruitment, a total of 18799 ALP posts will be filled including all the zones, earlier the board had issued recruitment for 5696 posts.

What is the selection process?

Candidates will have to first appear for a computer based test, then document verification and finally selection will be done on the basis of medical test etc.

Marking scheme?

Please note that there will be negative marking in both CBT-1 and CBT-2. 1/3 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. However, there will be no negative marking in the aptitude test.
