SBI Clerk Recruitment 2024: The State Bank of India has released an important notice on the change in cut-off dates for SBI Clerk Recruitment 2024. The cut-off dates have been changed for ex-servicemen. Candidates who want to check the notice can check it on the official website of SBI sbi.co.in.

The official notice reads, "About the above advertisement, it has been decided by the competent authority to amend the cutoff dates in respect of candidates who are still serving in the armed forces and are willing to apply for the post of Junior Associates in line with the guidelines of the Government of India."

Certificate to be submitted
As per the revised guidelines, candidates who are still serving in the armed forces and are willing to apply under the ex-servicemen category will have to submit a certificate (Proforma 'B') from the competent authority indicating the date of completion of their Specific Period of Service (SPE), along with a declaration (Proforma 'C').

Only candidates whose SPE has been completed on or before 31.01.2026 are eligible to apply under this recruitment. They are also required to submit a release letter along with a self-declaration at the time of joining the bank that they are entitled to the benefits available to ex-servicemen as per Government of India rules.

Further, candidates who have completed their initial period and are on extended assignment are required to submit certificates as per Proforma 'D'. If selected, such candidates mentioned in (ii) and (iii) above should be released and join the bank on or before 31.03.2026. These certificates are mandatorily required to be submitted at the time of joining.

Apply by January 7
The SBI Clerk registration process is underway. The last date to apply is January 7, 2025. 13735 posts will be filled in the organization under this recruitment drive. For more details, candidates can visit the official website of SBI.
