SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2026: The State Bank of India (SBI) has released a detailed notification for the recruitment of apprentices. Under this recruitment drive, a total of 7,150 apprentice positions will be filled. Eligible candidates may apply online through the official SBI website—the SBI Careers Portal. The application process commences on May 19, 2026.

For the SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2026, candidates must possess a Graduation degree from a recognized university or institution as of April 1, 2026. Candidates without a Graduation degree will not be eligible to apply.

**Age Limit Criteria**
For this recruitment, the minimum age limit has been set at 20 years, and the maximum age limit at 28 years. Candidates must have been born on or before April 1, 2006, and on or after April 2, 1998. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted age relaxation in accordance with the rules of the Government of India.

**Application Fee**
Candidates must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the local language of the state for which they are applying. However, candidates who have studied the relevant language in their 10th or 12th grade will be exempted from the language proficiency test. The application fee is fixed at ₹300 for candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and EWS categories, while no fee will be charged for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates.

The selection process will involve an online written examination consisting of 100 objective-type questions to be answered within 60 minutes, carrying a total weightage of 100 marks. The examination will comprise questions worth 25 marks each from the following sections: General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude. There will be a negative marking of 1/4th of a mark for every incorrect answer. A local language proficiency test will also be conducted for candidates who qualify in the written examination.
