Eligibility for Technician Recruitment

Educational Qualification:
NAC/NTC (National Apprenticeship/Trade Certificate) in the relevant trade is mandatory (ITI is also valid).

For some trades like Operator Material Handling Equipment, Rigger, Sand & Shot Blaster, one must have class 10th + 2 years experience (in industry).

Age Limit
General: Maximum 35 years
OBC‑NCL: +3 years
SC/ST: +5 years
PwBD: +10 years (additional with other categories)
Ex-apprentice Trainee, Ex-Servicemen, and experienced candidates also get exemptions as per the rules

Salary
Basic Pay: ₹21,000
Industrial Dearness Allowance (IDA): Applicable
Special Allowance: 5% of Basic
Annual Increment: 3% of Basic Pay per annum (only when the previous period is completed)
Additional Allowances: ₹3,000/month as an allowance for medical, accident insurance, transport, telephone, etc.
EPF (Provident Fund) contribution
