PGCIL Vacancy 2025: There is very good news for the youth who are looking for a government job after completing an engineering degree. Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has released vacancies for the posts of Field Engineer and Supervisor. The application process for this has started on 27th August. Interested candidates can apply for these posts till 27th September by visiting the official website powergrid.in.
PGCIL has invited applications for a total of 1543 posts. Graduates with BE/BTech and BSc Engineering degrees, especially candidates specializing in Civil, Electrical, or Electronics and Communication branches, can apply for these posts. Candidates will be selected through a common FTE written examination. The exam will be conducted in a single shift at various centers across the country.

Candidates applying for Field Engineer posts should have an engineering degree in the relevant subject. The candidate should pass with 55% marks and should have one year of experience. At the same time, for Field Supervisor posts, the applicant should have a full-time diploma with at least 55% marks in the relevant branch of engineering.
PGCIL Jobs 2025: What should be the age?
The maximum age of the candidate applying for these posts should be 29 years. Applicants of the reserved category have also been given relaxation in the maximum age limit. The age of the applicants will be calculated from 17 September 2025.

PGCIL Vacancy 2025 Salary: How much salary will you get?
The basic salary of the candidate for the post of Field Engineer is Rs 30,000, which has a pay band of Rs 30,000-3%-1,20,000. Also includes industrial DA, HRA, and allowances. The annual salary package is around Rs 8.9 lakh, which includes a minimum of 35% of the basic salary as allowances. On the other hand, the monthly pay scale for the post of Field Supervisor is Rs 23,000-3%-1,05,000, which includes a starting basic salary of Rs 23,000, industrial DA, HRA and allowances. The total annual CTC is around Rs 6.8 lakh, which includes allowances up to 35% of the basic salary.
