Sarkari Naukri 2024: There is good news for people looking for government jobs after passing BA, B.Sc., B.Com. Odisha High Court has invited applications for the post of Junior Stenographer and Assistant Section Officer. Online applications for these recruitments will start on 20th May and will continue till 18th June 2024. According to the notification, there are 35 vacancies for Junior Stenographers and 147 vacancies for Assistant Section Officers in the High Court. For this, an online application has to be made by visiting the website of Odisha High Court https://orissahighcourt.nic.in/.

In Odisha High Court, 12 seats are reserved for women out of 35 vacancies of Junior Stenographer, and 49 seats are reserved for women out of 147 vacancies of Assistant Section Officer.

Educational qualification

Junior Stenographer- For the post of Junior Stenographer, one should have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline. Also, shorthand speed should be 80 words per minute and typing speed should be 40 words per minute. Apart from this, computer knowledge is also important.

Assistant Section Officer- For the post of Assistant Section Officer in Odisha High Court, candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

Age limit

For Junior Stenographer and Assistant Section Officer posts, the age should be between 21 to 32 years. SC/ST/SEBC category candidates will get a maximum age relaxation of 5 years and disabled people will get 10 years of relaxation.

Salary in Odisha High Court

Junior Stenographer- Salary will be given as per pay scale 25500-81100/- Level-7.

Assistant Section Officer- Salary will be given as per pay scale 35400-112400/- Level-9.

Application fee

The application fee for the vacancies in Odisha High Court is Rs 500. Which is non-refundable and non-adjustable. SC/ST and physically handicapped candidates are exempted from applying.
