RVUNL Recruitment 2026: Rajasthan Announces 2,005 Vacancies for JE, Junior Accountant and Assistant Posts
The Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (RVUNL) has released a short notification for a major recruitment drive across five state-owned power companies. A total of 2,005 vacancies will be filled for the posts of Junior Engineer-I (JE), Junior Accountant, and Junior Assistant/Commercial Assistant-II.
The recruitment has been announced under Advertisement No. RVUN/Rectt.-2026-27/01. While the short notice confirms the available posts, the detailed notification containing the complete eligibility criteria, examination schedule, application dates, and selection process is expected to be released during the second half of July 2026.

Reservation for various categories will be applicable in accordance with the recruitment rules and Rajasthan Government reservation policy.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must satisfy the prescribed educational qualifications for the respective posts.
For Junior Engineer-I, applicants should possess a three-year diploma in the relevant engineering discipline from a recognized institution.
Candidates applying for the Junior Accountant post should hold a graduate degree in Commerce or an equivalent discipline.
For the Junior Assistant/Commercial Assistant-II position, applicants must be graduates and should also possess the prescribed computer proficiency and typing skills as specified in the detailed notification.
Age Limit
Applicants between 18 and 28 years of age will be eligible to apply for the recruitment.
Age relaxation for candidates belonging to reserved categories will be provided according to the rules of the Rajasthan Government. Complete details regarding age relaxation are expected to be included in the detailed recruitment notification.

Selection Process
The recruitment process will consist of multiple stages.
Candidates will first have to appear for a written examination. Those qualifying the examination will be called for document verification, followed by a medical examination before the final appointment.
For Junior Engineer-I, the written examination will carry 200 marks, and candidates will be evaluated on the basis of their performance in the test.
The detailed syllabus, exam pattern, and marking scheme are expected to be published in the comprehensive recruitment notification.
Salary for Junior Engineer
Selected candidates appointed as Junior Engineer-I will receive salary under Pay Level-10, with a starting basic pay of ₹33,800 per month, along with applicable allowances and other government benefits as per service rules.
Employees will also be entitled to other benefits available to Rajasthan government power utility staff under applicable regulations.
