RSSB Recruitment: The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has released the notification for its first major recruitment drive of the new year. The board is initiating the recruitment process for 10,644 positions of Clerk Grade II and Junior Assistant. Online applications will be accepted for these positions. This is great news for lakhs of young people in Rajasthan who have been waiting for a government job for a long time. The notification also specifies when the examination will be conducted.

When do applications begin?

Online applications for this RSSB recruitment will begin on January 15th. The notification for the recruitment was released, specifying this date. It also stated that the last date for application is February 13, 2026. This means applicants have approximately one month to apply. Applications can be submitted on the official website of the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB).

Who can apply?

9.17 lakh candidates who have qualified in the CET Senior Secondary-2024 are eligible to apply for this recruitment. Their eligibility will remain valid only until February 16, 2026. After that, their eligibility will expire. Therefore, experts estimate that lakhs of candidates will apply for this recruitment. The examination is scheduled to be held on July 5th and 6th, 2026.

The board has released four recruitment notifications so far this year. Earlier, notifications were issued for 259 posts of Forest Guard, 1100 posts of Agriculture Supervisor, and 72 posts of Women Supervisor. The online application process for these three recruitments is still ongoing.

The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) will recruit for 6 positions of Clerk Grade-II, while the Administrative Reforms Department will conduct the recruitment process for 9806 Junior Assistant positions. Similarly, the Directorate of Agricultural Marketing will recruit for 600 Junior Assistant positions, the Rajasthan State Agricultural Marketing Board for 98 positions, the Rajasthan Pollution Control Board for 50 positions, and the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan, for 84 Clerk Grade-II positions.
