RSSB Teacher Recruitment 2026: Massive Recruitment of Teaching Associates in Rajasthan—Applications Open from May 5 for 3,500+ Posts..
The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has announced a massive recruitment drive for Teaching Associates under the Rajasthan College Education Society, with the application process set to commence shortly. According to the official notification, the RSSB has declared a total of 3,540 vacancies across 32 subjects, inviting applications from eligible male and female candidates.
RSSB Chairman Major General Alok Raj stated that the online application process will begin on May 5 and conclude on June 3, while the written examinations are scheduled to be held in September and October. He further informed that 2,000 additional posts will be included under the L1 Teacher Recruitment drive, for which a separate notification will be issued.
What are the Eligibility Criteria?
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a post-graduate degree in the relevant subject with a minimum aggregate score of 55 percent. Additionally, it is mandatory to have qualified for the NET examination conducted by the UGC or CSIR, or the SLET/SET examination.
Age Limit: Applicants must be between 18 and 40 years of age as of January 1, 2027. However, age relaxations will be granted: five years for women belonging to the General Category and men belonging to Reserved Categories, and 10 years for women belonging to Reserved Categories. Furthermore, age relaxation benefits will also be extended to widowed women.

What is the Application Fee?
The application fee for candidates belonging to the General category and applicants from outside Rajasthan is ₹600, while candidates belonging to the state's OBC, MBC, EWS, SC, and ST categories are required to pay a fee of ₹400. The same fee applies to candidates with disabilities. The fee can be paid online via Net Banking, UPI, credit card, or debit card.
