The Rajasthan Staff Selection Commission (RSSB) has opened registration for the REET Mains Primary Teacher positions on November 7th. Candidates interested in applying for the positions of Primary Teacher (Classes 1 to 5) in Rajasthan can apply online through the official website, rssb.rajasthan.gov.in. The RSSB will recruit a total of 5,636 Primary Teacher positions. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online until December 6th.
Application Fee
The application fee for the Rajasthan RSSB REET Mains Primary Teacher positions is ₹600 for General and OBC candidates, and ₹400 for SC/ST, OBC, and all differently-abled candidates from Rajasthan.
Educational Qualifications
To apply for these positions, candidates must have completed their higher secondary education with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized institution in India and must possess a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education. Alternatively, candidates must have passed higher secondary education with 50% marks and obtained a B.Ed. Degree. Candidates must also meet other prescribed eligibility criteria.
Age Limit
To apply for the primary teacher position, candidates must be at least 18 years of age. Candidates must not have attained the age of 40. However, age relaxation will be provided to candidates in special categories.
Exam on this date
The RSSSB will conduct the exam between January 17 and 21, 2026. Candidates will be asked 150 questions worth 300 marks. The exam will be conducted for two hours and thirty minutes. There will also be a negative marking of one-third for each wrong answer.
In addition to registering online, candidates can also pay the fees online until December 6, 2025.
