RSSB Driver Vacancy 2025: Announcement of bumper recruitment for driver posts in Rajasthan, applications will start from 27 February..

A notification has been issued for recruitment to bumper posts of drivers in Rajasthan. According to the notification, a total of 2756 vacant posts will be appointed through this recruitment. The application process for recruitment will be started on 27 February 2025 next month. Candidates who fulfill the eligibility for driver posts will be able to complete the application process through online mediums by visiting the official website of RSSB rssb.rajasthan.gov.in or the SSO portal as soon as the application starts.

To participate in this recruitment, the candidate must have passed secondary or its equivalent from a recognized board. Along with this, according to the department, there should be a driver's license to drive a light or heavy transport vehicle and 3 years of experience as a driver.

Along with educational qualification, the minimum age of the candidate should not be less than 18 years and the maximum age should not be more than 40 years. Candidates coming from reserved categories will be given relaxation in upper age as per rules. Age will be calculated keeping in mind 1st January 2026. Recruitment Details
Through this recruitment, 2756 vacant posts of vehicle drivers will be recruited in various departments of Rajasthan. Out of this, 2602 posts are reserved for non-scheduled areas and 154 posts for scheduled areas.

Application Fee
To participate in this recruitment, candidates coming from all categories will have to pay Rs 400. Keep in mind that along with filling out the form, the candidates must deposit the prescribed fee, otherwise, your form will not be accepted.

Exam Date
Candidates applying for this recruitment will have to go through a written examination to get selected. The written test can be conducted from 22 to 23 November 2025 in Computer Based Test (CBT) / Tablet Based Test (TBT) / Offline (OMR) medium. A total of 120 multiple-choice type questions will be asked in the exam. Candidates will be given 2 hours i.e. 2 hours to solve the question paper. The paper will have 30 questions from General Hindi, 15 questions from General English, 25 questions from Mathematics and 50 questions from topics falling under General Knowledge.
