RRC SR Apprentice 2025: Railway Recruitment Cell, South Railway is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to more than 3500 posts of Apprentice. The application process has started and will end on September 25, 2025. Interested candidates can apply for this recruitment through the official website sronline.etrpindia.com.
RRC SR Apprentice Eligibility: Who can apply?
Eligibility conditions have been set for this recruitment on the basis of education and age. Candidates should check these details before applying:
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed class 10th with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized board or passed 12th with a science subject. They must have an ITI certificate in the relevant trade from a recognized institute.
Age Limit (as on 25 September 2025): The age limit for freshers has been fixed from 15 to 22 years. While for Ex-ITI/MLT candidates, it is 24 years, age relaxation is applicable as per government norms.
Application Fee
To apply, candidates from the General and OBC categories have to pay an application fee of Rs 100. For Female, SC, ST, and PwBD candidates, the application is completely free. The application fee will be paid through online mode only.
RRC SR Apprentice Training Stipend: Stipend
Candidates will be given a monthly stipend during the apprentice training period. 10th pass candidates will be provided a stipend of Rs 6,000 per month, 12th pass and Ex-ITI candidates will be provided a stipend of Rs 7,000 per month.
10th pass - Rs 6,000 per month
12th pass and Ex-ITI - Rs 7,000 per month
Selection Process
Candidates are selected on the basis of merit. This merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in 10th, 12th, or ITI. Selected candidates will be called for document verification, and after this, a medical fitness test will also be mandatory.
