Educational Qualification
Under Railway Technician Recruitment 2025, educational qualifications have also been prescribed for different posts. For Technician Grade-1 (Signal), the candidate must have a B.Sc degree in Physics, Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology (IT) or Instrumentation. Apart from this, a diploma or engineering degree in related subjects is also valid. At the same time, for the posts of Technician Grade-3, the candidate must have passed 10th (Matriculation / SSLC) and also completed ITI or Apprenticeship in a related trade (such as Foundryman, Moulder, Pattern Maker, Forger or Heat Treater).
Age Limit
The maximum age of the candidates for Technician Grade I Signal should be between 18 to 36 years, and the maximum age of the candidates for Technician Grade III post should be between 18 to 33 years.
Application Fee
The application fee for SC/ST, Ex-Servicemen, PWD, Women, Transgender, Minority, or Economically Backward Classes is Rs 250. The application fee for all other candidates is Rs 500.

The selected candidates under Railway Technician Recruitment 2025 will be given salary and allowances as per the Seventh Central Pay Commission (7th CPC). Technician Grade-1 (Signal) comes in Pay Level-5, in which the initial monthly salary has been fixed at ₹ 29,200. At the same time, Technician Grade 3 is included in Pay Level-2, whose initial monthly salary will be ₹ 19,900. Apart from this, other allowances and facilities will also be given to the selected candidates as per the rules.
