RRB Technician New Exam Schedule 2026: An important update for candidates appearing for the Railway Technician recruitment exam. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has changed the exam dates for Technician Grade-I Signal and Technician Grade-III. Previously, the exam was scheduled to be held from March 5th to 9th, 2026. However, in a new notice, RRB has stated that the Technician exam will be held on March 6th, 9th, 10th, and 13th, 2026. You will now need to appear for the exam according to this schedule.

This RRB Technician recruitment is for over 6,000 posts. This includes 183 Technician Grade-I Signal positions and 6,055 Technician Grade-III positions. Candidates who applied for this recruitment under advertisement number (CEN 02/2025) will be able to appear for the exam on March 6th. For this, candidates' exam city slips will be available for viewing on the RRB regional official website approximately 10 days after the exam. According to the official notice, candidates' admit cards will be available for viewing approximately 4 days after the exam.

Enter your registration number and password.

How will the Railway Technician exam be conducted?
This Railway Technician recruitment exam will consist of 100 questions from General Awareness, Intelligence and Reasoning, Basic Computer Applications, Math, and Basic Science and Engineering. Most of these questions will be from Basic Science and Engineering. Negative marking will also apply. This means that marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer. Therefore, answer carefully. To pass the CBT-1 exam, General candidates will need 40 percent marks, OBC candidates 30 percent, SC candidates 30 percent, and ST candidates 25 percent.
