RRB Recruitment 2025: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced a major recruitment drive in October 2025. This drive will fill a total of 2,570 positions for Junior Engineers (JEs), Depot Material Superintendents (DMSs), and Chemical and Metallurgical Assistants (CMAs). What is the application process?
This is a great opportunity for those dreaming of a government job within the Railways. Interested candidates can apply from October 31, 2025, to November 30, 2025. Applications will be accepted only through the official portal, rrbapply.gov.in.

What is the age limit and salary?
The age limit should be between 18 and 33 years (as of January 1, 2026), with relaxations for reserved categories as per rules. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of ₹35,400.

What are the required qualifications?
For Junior Engineer and related positions, a diploma/degree (BE/B.Tech) in engineering, computer science, IT, or a related subject is required. For the CMA position, graduates in physics and chemistry can apply. Detailed educational qualification information will be found in the full notification.

What will be the selection process?
Candidates will be selected in four stages:

1- Computer-Based Test (CBT-I)

2- Computer-Based Test (CBT-II)

3- Document Verification

3- Medical Test

Candidates who qualify in the first stage (CBT-I) will be called for CBT-II. Therefore, young people seeking jobs in the Railways are advised to start preparing now.

Other Recruitments
Currently, RRB is also accepting applications for 368 Section Control Officer (SCO) positions. For this, graduate candidates can apply till 14 October 2025, and the last date for depositing the fees is 16 October 2025.
