RRB Recruitment 2025: Applications for Railway Section Controller posts start today, graduate candidates can apply..

The application process for recruitment to the post of Section Controller has started by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) from today, i.e., 15th September. Candidates who are graduates and want to get a government job in Railways can complete the application process by visiting the direct portal of RRB rrbapply.gov.in through the online medium to join it. The last date for filling the form is 14 October, and the last date for depositing the fee is 16 October 2025.

To apply for Railway Section Controller posts, the candidate must be a graduate from a recognized university/institute in any stream. Along with this, the minimum age of the candidate should not be less than 20 years, and the maximum age should not be more than 33 years. The reserved category will be given relaxation in the upper age limit as per the rules. Keep in mind that the age will be calculated as of 1 January 2026.

To fill the form, first visit the portal rrbapply.gov.in.

On the home page of the website, you have to register by clicking on Create an Account.

After this, complete the form by filling in the other details through login.

Finally, submit the form by paying the prescribed fee category-wise.

Application fee
Candidates have to compulsorily deposit the prescribed fee along with filling out the application form. Your form will not be accepted without a fee. Unreserved, OBC, and EWS categories will have to deposit Rs 500 as a fee, while SC, ST, PH, and female candidates of all categories will have to pay Rs 250.

After the Stage 1 exam, the unreserved, OBC, and EWS categories will have to pay Rs 400, and the entire fee will be refunded to SC, ST, PH and female candidates of all categories.
