RRB NTPC Recruitment 2026: There is good news for young people preparing for government jobs. Indian Railways has announced recruitment for 3,548 posts under the NTPC Graduate Recruitment 2026 drive. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has issued Centralized Employment Notification No. 06/2026. The online application process for this began on October 8, 2026. Interested and eligible candidates can apply until 11:59 PM on November 6, 2026.
**Recruitment for Four Types of Posts**
This railway recruitment drive includes posts across four categories:
Goods Train Manager: 2,750 posts
Senior Clerk-cum-Typist: 371 posts
Junior Accounts Assistant-cum-Typist: 300 posts
Chief Commercial-cum-Ticket Supervisor: 127 posts
**What is the Salary?**
Chief Commercial-cum-Ticket Supervisor: Initial basic salary of ₹35,400 per month under Pay Level-6.
Goods Train Manager, Junior Accounts Assistant-cum-Typist, and Senior Clerk-cum-Typist: Initial basic salary of ₹29,200 per month under Pay Level-5.
Additionally, other allowances will be provided as per regulations.
**Eligibility and Age Limit**
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
The prescribed age limit is 18 to 33 years.
Age will be calculated as of January 1, 2027.
Candidates belonging to eligible reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
**How Will Selection Take Place?**
Candidates will be selected based on a first-stage Computer-Based Test (CBT), a second-stage CBT, document verification, and a medical examination. Merit and prescribed eligibility criteria will be taken into account during the selection process.
Provisions for scribe facilities and extra time are also available for eligible candidates with disabilities, in accordance with the rules.
What are the rules regarding the typing test?
According to the notification, a computer-based typing skill test will not be conducted for the posts of Junior Accounts Assistant-cum-Typist and Senior Clerk-cum-Typist. However, candidates are expected to possess basic knowledge of computers and typing; this will be verified after joining the service.

Application correction period: November 9 to 18, 2026
Refund of exam fees for eligible candidates will also be processed in accordance with applicable terms and conditions.
