Candidates must be between 18 and 33 years of age as of January 1, 2027.

How will the selection for Railway recruitment take place?
The selection process for this recruitment consists of three main stages:

There will be no computer-based typing skill test for the posts of Junior Accounts Assistant-cum-Typist and Senior Clerk-cum-Typist; typing proficiency will be assessed after appointment.
What is the application fee, and how much will be refunded?
The application fee is ₹500 for candidates belonging to the General, Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) categories. Upon appearing for the first-stage exam, ₹400 will be refunded after deducting bank charges.
The fee is ₹250 for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Ex-servicemen, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), Women, Transgender persons, Minorities, and Economically Backward Classes. Upon appearing for the first-stage exam, the full ₹250 will be refunded after deducting bank charges.
The fee can be paid only through online modes such as internet banking, debit or credit cards, and UPI. A non-refundable fee of ₹250 will be charged for making any modifications to the application.
How do I apply for the Railway recruitment?

An active mobile number and a personal email ID are required for registration.
Subsequently, the candidate must enter details regarding academic marks and preferences for the post or zone.
The application process also involves capturing a live photograph and uploading a scanned copy of the signature.
