Post-CBT Tests
Following CBT-1 and CBT-2, additional tests specific to the post will be conducted, as follows:
Station Master – A CBAT (Computer-Based Aptitude Test) will be conducted for the Station Master post. Generally, there is no negative marking in the CBAT, but it is a crucial stage for recruitment to the Station Master post.
Senior Clerk-cum-Typist / Junior Accounts Assistant-cum-Typist – A typing test is conducted for these posts.
Other Graduate NTPC Posts – The Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination process may follow directly after CBT-2, as typing or aptitude tests are not required for all posts.
Document Verification
Shortlisted candidates undergo document verification after the CBT or post-specific skill test. This involves the verification of educational certificates, caste/EWS certificates (where applicable), identity documents, and other necessary certificates.
Medical Examination
Prior to final appointment, a medical examination is conducted in accordance with the prescribed Railway Medical Standards for the respective post.
