RRB JE Recruitment 2025: Major Update, Increased Vacancies and Last Date; How to Apply

The Railway Recruitment Board has increased the vacancies for the JE Recruitment 2025 to a total of 2,569 positions and extended the application deadline to December 10, 2025.

A major update has been released regarding the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Junior Engineer Recruitment 2025, which millions of candidates have been waiting for. The board has not only increased the number of vacancies but has also extended the application deadline. This change has provided a better opportunity for candidates to apply.

Now Recruiting for 2,569 Positions

According to the new notification issued by the RRB, additional positions have been added for the Chennai and Jammu-Srinagar regions. 169 positions have been added in Chennai and 95 in Jammu-Srinagar. With this, the total number of vacancies will now be 2,569. These positions include Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent, and Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant.

New Application Deadline

The previously scheduled deadline has been extended to December 10, 2025. Candidates can now apply online until this date. For candidates who have already filled out the application form, the last date for fee submission has been set at December 12, 2025. Therefore, it is important to ensure that all procedures are completed within the stipulated time.

Correction Window Opens December 13

Minor errors are often made while filling out the application form in a hurry. To facilitate candidates, RRB has decided to open a correction window. This window will open on December 13, 2025, and will remain active until December 22, 2025. During this period, candidates will be able to make corrections to their application forms. Please note that no corrections will be possible after the window closes.

• Register a new account or log in with your old account.
• Fill out the application form and upload the required documents.
• After paying the fee, press the final submit button.
• Download the form and save a printout.
