RRB JE Recruitment 2024: The Railway Recruitment Board has released the notification for the Junior Engineer (JE) recruitment exam. The board has notified various vacancies including Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical Metallurgical Assistant. The registration process for this will start from July 30. RRB JE notification is available on the official website indianrailways.gov.in.
A total of 7951 posts will be recruited.
A total of 7,951 vacancies will be filled under this recruitment drive. The official notice states, “Applications are invited from eligible candidates for various posts of Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, (Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant, Chemical Supervisor (Research) and Metallurgical Supervisor (Research). Applications complete in all respects should be submitted online only by 23:59 hrs of 29.08.2024.”

As per the schedule, the RRB JE registration process will start on July 30. Candidates should submit their applications including payment of application fee by August 29, 2024. The board will open the application correction window from August 30, 2024, to September 8, 2024.
Exam Fee
Candidates have to pay the examination fee based on their category to appear in the RRB JE exam. Candidates can check the category-wise fee details below:
Exam Fee for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Ex-Serviceman, Female, Transgender, Minority or Economically Backward Class (EBC) candidates The fee is Rs 250. This amount will be refunded after deducting the applicable bank charges appearing in the first stage Computer-Based Test (CBT).
The exam fee for all other candidates is Rs 500. As per the official notification, an amount of Rs 400 will be refunded after deducting the bank charges appearing in the first stage Computer-Based Test (CBT).
Required Documents

Passport size photograph: A clear, colored JPEG image (30 to 70 KB) on a plain white background, without goggles or cap. Keep at least 12 copies for future use.
Scanned Signature: A JPEG image (30 to 70 KB) of the signature in running handwriting.
SC, ST Certificate: PDF format (up to 500 KB) for those seeking train travel passes.
Photograph for Divyang candidates: Passport size photograph as mentioned above.
Scribe Details: For eligible PwBD candidates, provide a passport size JPEG photograph (30 to 70 KB) of the scribe without goggles or cap. Change of scribe at the exam venue is generally not permitted but may be allowed in exceptional cases with valid reasons and proper documents.
