Railway Group D Recruitment 2025: The new Group D recruitment in the railways, which young people were eagerly awaiting, has been announced. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released a short notification for 22,000 Level 01 Group D posts. Applications will begin on January 21, 2026, on the official RRB website, www.rrbapply.gov.in. In this Group D recruitment, the highest number of posts is for Track Maintainer Grade IV. 11,000 posts have been approved for this position. What are the eligibility criteria for Group D?
To apply for this Group D recruitment, candidates are expected to have passed 10th grade. Although previously, an ITI in a relevant trade was also required along with high school, in the last recruitment, an ITI was not considered compulsory. Both ITI holders and 10th pass candidates were eligible to fill out the form. This later led to a court case regarding the eligibility criteria. Once the application link for the relevant recruitment opens, click on the link such as "Various Posts in Level 1 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix".
First, register using your basic details. For this, you need to go to the "New Registration Link".
Now, fill in details such as your name, date of birth, father's name, mother's name, Aadhaar card number, 10th class marks, email ID, and mobile number.
After completing the registration process, log in using your registration number and password.
Carefully fill in all the requested details.
Upload your photograph and signature and submit the application fee.
Now, take a final printout of the form and keep it safe.
General/OBC/EWS candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs. 500. SC/ST/Women/Transgender candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs. 250 online.
