RPSC Vacancy: 500 agriculture teacher jobs released in Rajasthan! Selection will be done through written exam..

RPSC Teacher Recruitment: Rajasthan Public Service Commission has invited applications for recruitment to 500 posts of School Lecturer in the Agriculture subject for the Secondary Education Department. Applications can be made online only. The application process for this recruitment will start from 4th September and its last date is 12 midnight on 3rd October 2025.

In this recruitment, the candidates will be selected on the basis of a written examination. The date and place of the examination will be given by the commission later.

Who can apply?

For this recruitment, the candidate must have a four-year bachelor's degree in agriculture or horticulture recognized by UGC, a PG degree in the relevant subject, and a B.Ed.

For this recruitment, the age of the candidate should be at least 21 years and a maximum of 40 years as on 01.01.2026. If a candidate becomes above the maximum age prescribed on 01.01.2026, then he will be given an additional relaxation of two years as per the rules.

How many years of relaxation will be given in the age limit?

Age relaxation is given for different categories: SC, ST, and OBC/MBC/EWS women candidates of Rajasthan will get 10 years relaxation, women of the general (unreserved) category will get 5 years relaxation. Widows and deserted women will be exempted from the age limit.

This much salary will be given.
The salary for this post has been fixed in Pay Band and Pay Matrix Level L-12, which includes grade pay of Rs 4800.

Paper-I General Studies: Duration of this paper is 1 hour and 30 minutes. It will include subjects like History of Rajasthan and India, Indian Independence Movement, Mental Ability, Secondary Level Mathematics and Statistics, Hindi and English Language Ability, Current Affairs, General Science, Indian Politics, Geography of Rajasthan, Educational Psychology, Educational Management, and the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009.

Paper-II Related Subjects: Duration of this paper is 3 hours. In this, knowledge of the concerned subject will be tested at higher secondary, graduate, and post-graduate levels. Apart from this, questions related to pedagogy, teaching material and use of computer and information technology in education will also be asked.
