Rajasthan Public Service Commission, i.e., RPSC, has released a bumper recruitment of Sub-Inspector / Platoon Commander, for which applications have been invited. The application process for a total of 1015 posts has started from August 10, and the last date of application is September 8. Eligible and interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of RPSC rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in. The commission has proposed the date of this recruitment examination as 5 April 2026. Earlier in the year 2021, a recruitment examination was held for 859 posts of Sub Inspector and Platoon Commander, in which there were allegations of paper leak, and in this case, SOG had also arrested many people, including a trainee SI.

Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for these posts should have a graduation degree from any recognized university. Although graduation final year students can also apply for this recruitment, they must have a degree certificate by the date of commencement of the interview.

Age Limit: The age of the candidates should be at least 20 years and a maximum of 25 years as on January 1, 2026. The commission had earlier taken out a recruitment in 2021, so this time the candidates have been given an additional relaxation of three years.

RPSC SI Recruitment 2025 Application Fee: What is the application fee?

Those applying for the post of Rajasthan Police Sub-Inspector will have to pay the required application fee. General / EWS / OBC candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 600, while SC / ST / OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) / MBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates will have to pay Rs 400. At the same time, PwBD (Person with Benchmark Disability) candidates are exempted from the payment of the application fee.

Candidates for this recruitment will be selected through a written test and an interview.
