RPSC SI-Platoon Commander Recruitment 2025: Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) will start the application process for Sub-Inspector and Platoon Commander Recruitment in Rajasthan Police from Sunday, 10 August 2025. Eligible and interested candidates will be able to apply online at rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in. Apart from this, candidates can also apply through sso.rajasthan.gov.in portal. The last date to apply is 8 September 2025.

A total of 1015 posts will be recruited.
The commission is going to fill a total of 1015 vacant posts under this recruitment drive. These include 896 posts of Sub-Inspector (AP), 4 posts of Sub-Inspector (AP) Saharia, and 25 posts of Sub-Inspector (AP) Scheduled Area.

Apart from this, 26 posts have been set for Sub-Inspector (IP) and 64 posts for Platoon Commander (RAC).

Eligibility Criteria for Recruitment

Candidates applying for Sub-Inspector and Platoon Commander posts in Rajasthan Police should have a degree from a recognized university in India. This university should be established by an Act of the Central or State Legislature, constituted by an Act of Parliament or State Legislature, or declared under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956. In addition, an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government in consultation with the Commission is also acceptable.

Also, the applicant should have a working knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script, and knowledge of Rajasthani culture is also mandatory.

Maximum Age Criteria

Candidates should be between 20 years and not more than 25 years of age as on 1st January 2026 to apply. Reserved category candidates and female candidates will be given relaxation in the upper age limit as per the rules.

Apart from this, RPSC has also provided an additional three years' relaxation to the candidates having a higher age as on 1st January 2025 under the provisions.

This much will be the application fee.
For Rajasthan Police Sub-Inspector and Platoon Commander Recruitment 2025, candidates of General, EWS, and OBC (Creamy Layer) categories will have to pay an application fee of Rs 600. At the same time, the application fee for SC, ST, and OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) category candidates has been fixed at Rs 400. Benchmark Divyangjan (PwD) candidates will also have to pay a fee of Rs 400.
