The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) issued an official notification on December 23rd for the recruitment of Assistant Directors and Senior Scientific Officers. Educational Qualification
To apply for these positions, candidates must possess an M.Sc. degree in Zoology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or other relevant subjects, along with other specified eligibility criteria.
Age Limit
The minimum age for applicants is 21 years, and the maximum age should not exceed 40 years. Age relaxation will be provided to eligible candidates. SC and ST candidates will receive a five-year relaxation, OBC candidates a three-year relaxation, and PwD (Persons with Disabilities) candidates a ten-year relaxation.
Application Fee
All categories of candidates are required to pay an application fee. The application fee is ₹600 for general category candidates and ₹400 for SC and ST candidates.
Exam Pattern
The written examination will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions worth 150 marks, covering the relevant subject. The duration of the exam will be two hours and thirty minutes. There will be a negative marking of one-third of a mark for each incorrect answer. Candidates selected in this examination will be shortlisted for the next stage.
