The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has started the application process for Protection Officer posts today, December 24th. Candidates seeking government jobs and meeting the eligibility criteria can apply online through the RPSC's official website rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in or the SSO portal sso.rajasthan.gov.in. The last date to fill out the form is January 22, 2026.

Who can participate in the recruitment?
To apply for the Protection Officer posts, candidates must have a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from a recognized university/institution.
Candidates should know about writing Hindi in the Devanagari script and be familiar with the culture of Rajasthan.
Candidates in the final year/semester of their LLB or MSW program are also eligible to apply.
The minimum age is 18 years, and the maximum age should not exceed 40 years. However, age relaxation will be given to candidates belonging to reserved categories as per rules.

How to apply
To apply for this recruitment, you need to visit the commission's website rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in and click on the "Apply Online" link, or log in to the SSO portal sso.rajasthan.gov.in, select the Recruitment Portal available in the Citizen App (G2C), and complete the One Time Registration (OTR). After OTR, candidates can log in to the portal and complete the application process through the Recruitment Portal.

Application Fee
Along with filling out the application form, candidates belonging to the General (Unreserved)/OBC Creamy Layer/EWS Creamy Layer categories will have to pay Rs. 600. Candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC Non-Creamy Layer/EWS Non-Creamy Layer) and Persons with Disabilities will have to pay Rs. 400 as the application fee.
