The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) released the notification for the RAS Recruitment 2026 (Rajasthan State and Subordinate Services Combined Competitive Examination) on May 27, and the application process has now commenced. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 607 posts across various state and subordinate services.

Of the 607 total posts, 192 are for state services—including the Rajasthan Administrative Service, Rajasthan Police Service, Accounts Service, Cooperation, Planning, and other departments—while 415 posts are for subordinate services, such as Tehsildar, Cooperation, Devasthan, Labour Welfare, Social Justice and Empowerment, etc.

What are the eligibility criteria?
Educational Qualification: Candidates holding a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university are eligible to apply. Students in their final year of graduation may also apply but must provide proof of passing before appearing for the Main examination or the interview round.

Age Limit: Candidates applying for these posts must be between 21 and 40 years of age. However, age relaxation applies to candidates from reserved categories in accordance with government norms.

Applications for this recruitment can be submitted at rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in. Candidates must apply using their SSO ID. They are advised to fill in all personal and educational details carefully and upload their photograph, signature, and necessary documents before submitting the form.

What is the application fee? The application fee is ₹600 for General (unreserved) candidates and those belonging to the 'creamy layer' of Backward Classes and Extremely Backward Classes; meanwhile, candidates from reserved categories (Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Economically Weaker Sections, Sahariya Primitive Tribe, etc.) and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) are required to pay an application fee of ₹400. The application fee must be paid online.

What is the selection process?
The selection process for this recruitment will be conducted in three stages: the Preliminary Examination, the Main Examination, and the Interview. The Preliminary Examination will be qualifying in nature, while the marks obtained in the Main Examination and the Interview will be used to prepare the final merit list. The Rajasthan Civil Services Preliminary Examination is scheduled to be held on November 29, 2026.
