RPSC JLO Registration: Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has started the application process for recruitment to the posts of Junior Legal Officer (JLO). A total of 12 candidates will be selected through this recruitment. Interested and eligible candidates can now apply online by visiting the official website of RPSC at rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in. The last date to apply is 25 September 2025.
Who can apply?
Educational Qualification: The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Law from a recognized university or institute in India.
Language and Cultural Knowledge: The candidate must know about writing in Hindi (Devanagari script) and have an understanding of the culture of Rajasthan.
Age Limit
The minimum age of the candidates is 21 years, and the maximum age is 40 years. However, SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and general female candidates of Rajasthan state will be given 5 5-year relaxation, while SC, ST, OBC, and EWS female candidates of Rajasthan will be given 10 years of relaxation in the age limit.
How much will be the application fee?
The application fee for these posts is Rs 600 for general and OBC candidates, while for SC, ST, and Divyang candidates it is Rs 400.
How will the selection be done?
The RPSC Junior Legal Officer (JLO) exam will be held in two stages: a written test and an interview. The written exam will have four question papers: Constitution of India, Civil and Criminal Procedure Code, Evidence Act, Interpretation of Laws, and Language (Hindi and English). The marks of each paper are 50, 50, 50, and 25+25.
The duration of each paper will be 3 hours, and the passing marks are fixed at 40% (5% relaxation to SC/ST). The question paper will be of 150 objective-type questions. 1/3 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. The level of the language paper will be same as that of Senior Secondary.
