RPSC APO Vacancy: The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has released the official notification for the Assistant Prosecution Officer (APO) recruitment for the year 2026. Under this recruitment drive, a total of 371 appointments will be made within the State's Law Department. Interested and eligible candidates will be able to apply online starting June 8, 2026. The deadline for the application process has been set for July 7, 2026.

For the RPSC APO Recruitment 2026, candidates must hold an LLB degree from a recognized university. Additionally, candidates must possess a working knowledge of Hindi in the Devanagari script, as well as knowledge of the culture of Rajasthan. Regarding the age limit, as of January 1, 2027, the minimum age for a candidate has been fixed at 21 years, and the maximum age at 40 years. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted age relaxation in accordance with State Government rules.

Written Examination to be Held on September 2nd

According to the Commission's notification, the RPSC APO written examination will be conducted on September 2, 2026. The selection process will commence with the written examination. Subsequently, successful candidates will be called for a personality test and an interview. Document verification will be conducted for candidates who successfully clear all stages, following which the final merit list will be released.

Application Fee Details

The application fee has been fixed at ₹600 for candidates belonging to the General and 'Creamy Layer' categories, while candidates from reserved categories are required to pay a fee of ₹400. Candidates are advised to visit the official website and verify their eligibility criteria before applying.

The Commission has also offered specific suggestions for candidates preparing for the examination. The exam will place special emphasis on Criminal Law, alongside local acts and amendments pertinent to Rajasthan.
