The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has issued a new, official advertisement for the fourth phase of the teacher recruitment exam, known as TRE 4.0. Why Was the Advertisement Number Changed?
According to the official information released by the Commission, the decision to withdraw the previous advertisement (No. 14/2026) was made due to certain technical and administrative reasons. To avoid any confusion among candidates, the BPSC took immediate action and re-issued the full details for the fourth phase of the school teacher recruitment exam (TRE 4.0) under a fresh advertisement number: 15/2026. With the release of this new notification, the recruitment process will now proceed entirely afresh.
Important Dates Under the New Advertisement
Along with the new notification, the Commission has clearly outlined the deadlines for online applications and fee payments. Under the new advertisement (No. 15/2026), the online application process for the exam will officially commence on September 25, 2026. The Commission's online portal will become active for form submission on this very day.
Additionally, candidates have been given a one-month window to submit their final applications. The deadline for online applications has been set for October 26, 2026. Furthermore, a significant change this time concerns the application fee; the deadline for submitting the fee is October 25, 2026. In other words, candidates must complete their registration and fee payment no later than one day before the final deadline for form submission.
