There is big news for the youth looking for a government job. Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released recruitment for the vacant posts of District Statistical Officer / Assistant Director. Candidates who fulfill the eligibility for this recruitment can fill the form through online mode by visiting the official website of BPSC bpsc.bihar.gov.in or from the direct link given on this page. Applications will not be accepted in any other way. The last date for filling out the form has been fixed as 24 June 2025.
Who can apply
To join this recruitment, the candidate must have obtained a post-graduation degree in Statistics / Mathematics or Economics from a recognized university. Along with this, the minimum age of the candidate should not be less than 21 years. The upper age is 37 years for male candidates and 40 years for female candidates. Candidates coming from reserved categories will be given age relaxation as per the rules.

After this, first, click on the online registration link on the new portal and register. After registration, the candidates should complete the application process by filling in other details. Finally, after paying the prescribed fee, take a printout of the filled form and keep it safe.
Application fee
Along with filling out the application form, pay the prescribed application fee according to the category. Forms submitted without fee will not be accepted. Application fee General, OBC, and other state candidates will have to pay Rs 600 and SC, ST, PH, and female candidates (native of Bihar state) will have to pay Rs 150. The fee can be paid both online and offline.
Recruitment details
A total of 47 vacant posts will be filled through this recruitment. Selected candidates will be given a salary of Rs 53100- 167800 per month and other allowances as per Level 9.
