Eligibility requirements include a BSc for Horticulture and either a BSc or MSc for Animal Husbandry.
For the Women's Welfare post, a BSc in Home Science, Home Economics, Nutrition, or Dietetics is mandatory. Qualifications required for the Cooperation post include an MA in Economics, MSc in Agricultural Economics, or MCom; for the Panchayat post, an MA in Economics, MSc in Agricultural Economics, or MA in Sociology is required. A minimum of 55% marks in a postgraduate degree is necessary for the Agriculture post. For the Public Health post, a graduation degree along with a certificate from a recognized Sanitary Inspector examination is required.
**Age Limit and Application Fee**
Candidates must be between 21 and 40 years of age to apply. The online application fee is ₹25 for all categories. A separate fee for the Main Examination will be charged at a later stage.
Mains Exam Based on PET
Only candidates who have appeared for PET-2025 will be eligible for this recruitment. Candidates will be shortlisted for the main examination based on their PET scores. Applications can be submitted at upsssc.gov.in from September 14 to October 5.
100-Mark Examination
The main examination will consist of a 100-mark paper with a duration of two hours. It will include questions worth 50 marks on rural development-related topics, 15 marks on analytical ability and data interpretation, 15 marks on computer and IT, and 20 marks on information related to Uttar Pradesh.
