Recruitment for Section Controller posts in Railways, notification released, interested candidates can apply from this date

There is some news for the candidates looking for jobs. Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has issued a short notification for recruitment to the posts of Section Controller under Centralized Employment Information (CEN) 04/2025. Under this recruitment drive, more than 300 vacancies will be filled in various zonal railways. The application process for this recruitment will start on September 15, 2025.

Salary details
Candidates selected in this recruitment will get a starting salary of ₹ 35,400 (Level 6). Apart from this, other allowances will also be available.
RRB Section Controller Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Applying candidates must have a graduation degree from a recognized university.
Age Limit (as on January 1, 2026): The minimum age of the candidates applying for this recruitment should be 20 years and maximum 33 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms for reserved categories.

Application Fee
General/OBC category candidates applying for this recruitment will have to pay an application fee of ₹500. At the same time, SC/ST/Female/Divyang candidates will have to pay ₹250 as application fee.
Selection Process
The selection process for RRB Section Controller Recruitment 2025 consists of several stages. It will start with two stages of computer-based examinations (CBT 1 and CBT 2), which will consist of objective questions to assess the knowledge and aptitude of the candidates. Depending on the requirements of the post, a skill test may also be conducted for the shortlisted candidates.
