Recruitment for 65 Posts at DTL; Job Without a Separate Written Exam

A total of 65 Assistant Manager Trainee posts will be filled through this recruitment. Notably, candidates will not be required to take a separate written examination; selection will be based on scores obtained in GATE 2026. Recruitment for 65 Posts

Delhi Transco Limited (DTL) has invited applications for a total of 65 Assistant Manager Trainee posts. These include 55 posts for Assistant Manager Trainee (Electrical), 5 for Non-Electrical, and 5 for Civil. Candidates holding the relevant engineering degree are eligible to apply. Separate posts have been designated for candidates specializing in Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Computer Science, IT, and Civil Engineering. A valid GATE 2026 score in the relevant subject is mandatory for the recruitment.

Selection Without a Separate Written Exam

The most distinctive feature of this recruitment is the selection process. Candidates will not have to appear for any separate written examination conducted by DTL. A merit list will be prepared based on the normalized GATE 2026 scores in the respective subjects. Subsequently, selected candidates will undergo one year of training. During the training period, candidates will receive a salary in accordance with Pay Level-9. Upon successful completion of the training, candidates will be appointed to the post of Assistant Manager under Pay Level-10.

Candidates Up to 28 Years of Age Eligible to Apply

The maximum age limit for applying to this recruitment is 28 years. The age calculation will be based on the application deadline. The application fee for General, OBC, and EWS candidates is ₹500, while SC, ST, and PwD candidates are exempted from the fee. Applications can be submitted online via DTL's recruitment portal.
