The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB) has released the notification for filling 200 Patwari posts under the Group-2 Sub-Group-4 Combined Recruitment Examination 2026. This recruitment is exclusively for candidates in the ‘Divyang’ category. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online via the official MPESB website from August 4, 2026, to August 18, 2026.
This recruitment will be conducted under the Land Records Management Department (Revenue Department), Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. Selected candidates will be posted in various districts across the state. The application process will be entirely online.
Recruitment for 200 Posts
A total of 200 Patwari posts will be filled through this recruitment drive. All posts are reserved exclusively for ‘Divyang’ candidates. Candidates belonging to categories such as hearing impairment, locomotor disability, multiple disabilities, autism, intellectual disability, and mental illness are eligible to apply. As per the Revenue Department’s rules, visually impaired candidates are not eligible for this recruitment. The recruitment will cover 44 districts of Madhya Pradesh, and candidates will be required to indicate their district preference during the application process.

Eligibility for Recruitment
To be eligible for recruitment, the candidate must be an Indian citizen and a permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh. Candidates must possess a graduation degree from a recognized university. Additionally, candidates must possess a CPCT score card; those who have not yet passed the CPCT exam will be required to clear it within a specified period after appointment, failing which their appointment may be cancelled. A valid disability certificate issued by the competent authority and an active registration with the Madhya Pradesh State Employment Exchange are also mandatory.
Age Limit and Application Fee
The minimum age for candidates is set at 18 years and the maximum at 45 years, calculated as of January 1, 2026. Eligible candidates will receive age relaxation in accordance with reservation rules. The application fee for General category candidates is ₹500. Candidates belonging to the SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and PwD (Persons with Disabilities) categories in Madhya Pradesh are required to pay an application fee of ₹250. Additionally, an MP Online portal fee must be paid separately, depending on the mode of application submission. No examination fee will be charged to candidates applying for backlog posts.
Selection Process and Salary
Candidates will be selected based on a computer-based written examination, document verification, and a district allocation process. The examination will carry a total of 200 marks. The question paper will cover subjects such as Science, Hindi, English, Mathematics, General Knowledge and Aptitude, General Computer Knowledge, General Reasoning, and General Management. Selected candidates will receive a pay scale of ₹5,200–₹20,200 with a grade pay of ₹2,100. During the probation period, the remuneration will be 70% of the minimum salary in the first year, 80% in the second year, and 90% in the third year.
