The Punjab and Haryana High Court has invited applications to fill a total of 167 posts for Sweepers and Gardeners. Interested candidates can apply online until June 30, 2026.

The Punjab and Haryana High Court has issued a recruitment notification for the positions of Sweeper and Gardener. A total of 167 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment drive. Interested and eligible candidates may submit their applications online within the stipulated timeframe.

According to the notification, appointments will be made for 75 Sweeper posts and 92 Gardener posts. To complete the application process, candidates must register online via the official website of the Punjab and Haryana High Court. The deadline for submitting applications is June 30, 2026.

Who can apply?

The age limit for these posts is set between a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 35 years. However, candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted age relaxation in accordance with government regulations.

Qualifications for the Gardener post

Preference will be given to candidates who hold a diploma in Horticulture for the Gardener position. Additionally, candidates with at least three years of work experience in the field of horticulture will be prioritized. This experience could prove advantageous during the selection process.

Qualifications for the Sweeper post

Relevant work experience is considered important for candidates applying for the Sweeper posts. According to the notification, priority will be given to candidates who possess at least three years of work experience as a sweeper.

Knowledge of language required

Candidates applying for both posts are required to have a working knowledge of Hindi and the regional language.

What is the application fee?

Candidates from the General category, as well as those from Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) belonging to other states, are required to pay an application fee of ₹700. Meanwhile, the application fee for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates from Punjab and Haryana has been fixed at ₹600.
