Recruitment for 153 Engineer Posts Announced; Salaries Up to ₹71,000; Apply by This Date
The public sector undertaking PDIL has announced recruitment for 153 contract-based positions for Graduate Engineers and Diploma Engineers. Eligible candidates can apply online until July 27, 2026.
Projects & Development India Limited (PDIL) has issued a recruitment notification for 153 positions across its various offices and project sites nationwide. This recruitment drive covers various roles for Graduate Engineers and Diploma Engineers. Interested candidates can submit their applications online up to July 27, 2026.
This recruitment is strictly on a contract basis. The initial appointment will be for one year, extendable up to a maximum of three years based on the candidate’s performance and the company’s requirements. Selected candidates may be posted at any of the company’s offices or project sites across the country.
Which positions are being filled?
The recruitment drive includes posts for Graduate Engineers (Scale-1 to Scale-4) and Diploma Engineers (Scale-1 to Scale-3). The highest number of vacancies—70—is for the Graduate Engineer (Scale-2) position. Additionally, 29 posts for Graduate Engineer (Scale-1), 24 for Scale-3, and 7 for Scale-4 will be filled. Recruitment will also take place for 13 posts of Diploma Engineer (Scale-1), 8 for Scale-2, and 2 for Scale-3.
What is the salary?
Candidates will receive an attractive monthly salary based on the position. Graduate Engineers will receive ₹71,000 (Scale-4), ₹63,000 (Scale-3), ₹56,000 (Scale-2), and ₹47,000 (Scale-1) per month. Meanwhile, Diploma Engineers will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹31,000 to ₹40,000, depending on the scale.
Who can apply?
Candidates with qualifications in disciplines such as Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Process, Computer Science, Fire & Industrial Safety, Human Resources, Project Management, Materials Management, and Chemistry are eligible to apply for this recruitment.
Candidates must possess a degree or diploma in the relevant discipline from a recognized institution. A minimum of 60% marks is required for General and OBC category candidates, while 55% marks is the requirement for SC and ST category candidates.
Age Limit Varies by Post
The maximum age limit for the various posts ranges from 32 to 43 years. Age and experience will be calculated as of June 30, 2026.
Selection Process
The recruitment process will be conducted in two stages. First, the online applications will be screened. Subsequently, eligible candidates will be called for a personal interview. Notification regarding the interview will be sent via email. The interview will be held at the PDIL Building, A-14, Sector-1, Noida. Eligible candidates will also be provided with a Travel Allowance (TA) in accordance with company rules.
Application Fee
Candidates belonging to the General and OBC categories are required to pay an application fee of ₹800, whereas the fee for SC, ST, and EWS categories is set at ₹400.
