There is good news for young people preparing for government jobs with the Madhya Pradesh High Court. The Madhya Pradesh High Court (MPHC), Jabalpur, has issued a notification for the direct recruitment of 1,174 Assistant Grade-3 posts. Appointments for these positions will be made across various district courts in the state as well as the High Court itself. The online application process for recruitment will begin on August 17, 2026, and eligible candidates will be able to apply until September 16, 2026.
**Graduation Required**
To be eligible for the Assistant Grade-3 post, candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Additionally, they must possess a one-year diploma in computer applications (such as DCA, PGDCA, or an equivalent qualification) from a recognized institution. Candidates should also have a good command of Hindi and English typing. Those holding a valid typing certificate or having qualified in the CPT/CPCT conducted by the Madhya Pradesh government may receive an advantage.
**Age Limit**
The minimum age for application is 18 years, and the maximum is 40 years. Age will be calculated as of January 1, 2026. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, and PwBD categories, as well as female candidates, will be granted a relaxation of up to five years in the maximum age limit, in accordance with the rules.
**Application Fee**
The application fee for General category candidates and those from outside Madhya Pradesh is approximately ₹777.02. Meanwhile, candidates belonging to the SC, ST, OBC, and PwBD categories from Madhya Pradesh will be required to pay approximately ₹577.02.
**Selection Process**
The selection process will comprise a preliminary examination, a main examination, and a computer typing test. Candidates who qualify in the preliminary examination will be called for the subsequent stages of the process.
