What are the Eligibility Criteria to Become an RBI JE?
Junior Engineer (Civil): Candidates must have completed a minimum 3-year Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized board with at least 65% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates), OR hold a Degree in Civil Engineering with 55% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates). Age Limit: 20–30 years. The candidate's date of birth must not be earlier than April 2, 1996, or later than April 1, 2006.
Salary: The starting basic pay for a JE is ₹47,700 per month. However, other allowances are added to this amount. In total, a Junior Engineer currently receives a monthly salary of approximately ₹91,309.
RBI JE Selection Process: Written Examination
The written examination for the RBI JE post will be conducted for a total of 300 marks. It is tentatively scheduled to be held on June 06, 2026. The exam will consist of a total of 180 questions, comprising 50 questions from English Language, 40 from Engineering Discipline Paper-I, 40 from Engineering Discipline Paper-II, and 50 from General Intelligence and Reasoning. The duration of the examination will be 150 minutes. Candidates selected in the written examination will be called for a Language Proficiency Test.

Here, you will find a link titled "Recruitment for the Post of Junior Engineer (Civil/Electric) Panel Year 2026." As soon as you click on this link, an IBPS window will open before you.
If you are a new user, first click on the "Click here for New Registration" link, as you will need to generate a registration number initially.
Fill in your details—such as your name, mobile number, and email ID—and click on "Save & Next."
Scan and upload your photograph and signature in the specified dimensions. Once your registration number has been generated, log in to the website again using your password. Now, fill in all the required details, such as your parents' names, ages, category, address, and marks obtained in the 10th grade, 12th grade, Diploma, and Graduation.
After filling in all the details in the form, the option to upload documents will appear.

Once the payment option appears, pay the application fee and submit the form.
To submit the online application form, candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen categories are required to pay an application fee of ₹50.
