What Qualifications are Required?

To apply for the position of General Primary School Teacher for classes 1 to 5, candidates must have a Higher Secondary or equivalent degree with a minimum of 50% marks and a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education. For Sanskrit Education Teachers, they must have a Senior Upadhyaya or equivalent traditional Sanskrit examination with a minimum of 50% marks and a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

For Higher Primary Teachers (Sanskrit teachers for classes 6 to 8), they must have a Shastri (or equivalent traditional Sanskrit examination) and a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), as well as passing the Rajasthan Eligibility Test (REET). For Social Studies, English, Mathematics-Science, and Hindi, the minimum educational qualification is graduation and a two-year Diploma or a B.Ed./B.El.Ed./B.Sc.Ed./M.Ed.
