Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma was responding to the Appropriation Bill (Rajasthan Finance and Appropriation Bill 2026) on Friday. During this, he made a major announcement regarding new recruitments for government positions. The CM announced new recruitments for 1.25 lakh posts in government departments.
1.43 lakh recruitments underway
The Chief Minister said that his government is working tirelessly to fulfill its commitment of 4 lakh recruitments in the state. The CM stated that 1.43 lakh recruitments are currently underway within the state, and a calendar for 1 lakh recruitments has been released. The CM said, "Now, instead of 1 lakh posts, I announce the release of a recruitment calendar for 1.25 lakh posts."
34 New Policies and the Goal of 'Developed India 2047.'
The Chief Minister claimed that his government has implemented more than 34 new policies and is committed to fulfilling every promise made to the public. He said that Rajasthan is emerging as a strong growth engine towards the goal of a developed India by 2047.
Investment of Rs 46,000 Crore
It is noteworthy that at the sixth meeting of the Investment Board, customized incentive packages were approved for 10 ultra-mega projects spread across key sectors, to attract investments worth Rs 46,000 crore. These projects are expected to create employment opportunities for more than 12,000 people across the state.
